DJ 1001 is a DJ and festival organizer (co-founder of Children Area Alliance) from Russia (Moscow).
He have loved electronic music from childhood and his earliest musical influences are work from The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, The Crystal Method, and The Chemical Brothers.
To him, the most fascinating thing about psytrance is the lack of words and the presence of sense: these only serve to divert a dancer or listener from truly understanding the music and the artist.
He began to write music in a myriad of different musical directions, styles and sounds, from dram’n’bass, chillout and dark psy trance but found his true calling in 2007 when he realized that he can create night trance party. From there, he started working at party clubs and organizing open air festivals.
In 2008 he created a promo Children Area Alliance with like-minded people and worked at Kalevala 2007-2009, Trimurti 2008-2009, Space Camp 2011 (with Sonic Chakras), Indian Summer 2011-2012, Trishula 2010-2012 and Shapkee 2008-2013. Each of the shows were considered the best underground events in the former USSR.
He also began to perform in 2008 as a DJ and quickly identified his favorite music as progressive trance.
In closing, he thinks that meaningful, psychedelic progressive trance allows not only dancing, but an introspection experience where one can examine the world and one's place in it...

С детства увлекается электронной музыкой, начиналось с первых альбомов The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, The Crystal Method, The Chemical Brothers. Больше всего в электронной музыке завораживает наличие смысла в отсутствии слов. Пробовал писать музыку в стилях от dram’n’bass и chillout до dark psy trance.
В 2007 году осознал, что может создавать ночные транс-парти. Начал с клубных вечеринок, в том же году перешел на организацию мероприятий на открытом воздухе. В 2008 году с единомышленниками основал промогруппу Children Area Alliance, в активе команды несколько фестивалей - Kalevala 2007-2009, Trimurti 2008-2009, Space Camp 2011 (совместно с Sonic Chakras), Indian Summer 2011-2012, Trishula 2010-2012, Shapkee 2008-2013. Каждый из них в свое время был лучшим среди андеграундных мероприятий на территории бывшего СССР.
С 2008 года начал выступать как диджей, быстро определился любимый стиль - танцевальный прогрессив транс. 1001 считает, что глубина и осмысленность присущая психоделичному прогрессив трансу позволяет не только танцевать, но и насаждаться прослушивая звучание трека, который обладает богатым, серьезным внутренним миром, лишенным поверхностности и легкомыслия.
